Part-time Student Financial Aid

How to Apply
Step 1: Submit your FAFSA
Fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the correct school year online.
- Apply for an FSA ID if you don't already have one.
- Follow the instructions and complete all questions.
- Provide your consent while completing the FAFSA to automatically pull in your IRS information.
- Carroll's FAFSA school code is 003838. By including this number on your FAFSA, your results will be sent directly to us.
- Print out a copy of your completed FAFSA for your records.
- Submit your FAFSA to the Department of Education.
The federal government usually takes 2–3 days to process the application.
Step 2: What to look for after you file your FAFSA
- The Financial Aid Office will receive and process your FAFSA and notify you via email when your financial aid offer has been completed.
- Log in to your my.carrollu.edu portal account, then Self Service > Financial Aid to view, accept, decline or modify your Financial Aid Offer.
Part-Time Studies Scholarship
Carroll University offers a scholarship to first-time, bachelor's degree seeking students
enrolled in 6-11 credits for the applied term. Applicants are required to have the
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with Carroll University by
scholarship deadline and receive minimal or no employer tuition reimbursement. For
scholarship consideration, applicants must be in good academic standing (GPA of 2.0
or higher). Scholarship recipients will be notified in writing two weeks after scholarship
deadline and funds are applicable to tuition only.
