Job Title – Student Worker

Purpose of Job

  • To assist the Esports & Competitive Sports Coordinator with daily activities, content creating and staffing of the Carroll Esports Center (CEC).
  • Promote use of space during recreational hours providing opportunities to the Carroll University campus and community.

Duties and Responsibilities

Student Content Creators

  • Manage the visual communications strategy created by the Esports & Competitive Sports Coordinator, including social media channels, stream channels and photo production.
  • Assist Head Coach in creating content for social media channels that share information about team news, player profiles, and match updates.

Front Desk Staff

  • Manage the opening and closing procedures of CEC for open hour use.
  • Monitor patron access and use of the CEC, ensuring that the facility and equipment is always properly secured and cleaned, sanitizing, and disinfecting as needed.
  • Uphold a high standard of excellence on the job, often referring to the Carroll University mission statement.
  • Enforce facility rules.

Stream Broadcast & Production

  • Assist with moderating competitive team streams to foster an environment within the vision of the university and program.
  • Collaborate with student managers to develop event advertisements.
