Employee Affinity Groups

In an effort to support and foster belonging in the workplace, a number of employee affinity gatherings are being hosted by the Offices of Intercultural and Diversity Engagement and Human Resources. These particular affinity gatherings, which are being sponsored by Institutional Inclusion, are centered around human characteristics and meant to connect some of our underrepresented employee populations. These events are also intended to give those who do not fall into one of the affinities/identities below, an opportunity to still support and engage in a more inclusive workplace. Those are often called Allies and you are welcome to attend.

Current Employee Affinity Groups include:
  • International
  • Veterans
  • Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC)
  • Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Queer or Questioning and + (LGBTQ+)

If you are interested in learning more about Carroll’s Affinity Groups, please email hroffice@carrollu.edu.
