Owen Hawver ‘23 | Oren + Olive Candles

Oren + Olive creates hand-poured organic soy candles with a focus on promoting the artistry that exists within Milwaukee’s small business community. Each concrete candle vessel is crafted, poured and packaged in-house, with several exclusive collections featuring hand-painted candles from a local Milwaukee artist. With a mission to deliver quality, sustainable, small-scale works of art, each candle truly feels one-of-a-kind.

Robert Colletta operates a bespoke commercial photography company in downtown Milwaukee. He passionately blends his classic training with cutting-edge techniques, capturing compelling moments. Whether it's a cocktail shoot for a distillery, a drone project for a new development or marketing content back at Carroll, he's always looking for the next creative challenge.

Jaelynn, a Carroll transfer student turned business owner, finds solace in Carroll's supportive community. Sunset Bowl, her thriving venture and home to the Carroll Women’s Bowling Team, embodies her dedication to bowling and community connections.

Alisha Hayes ‘04 | Pat’s Rib Place

Alisha and her husband Ty opened Pat’s Rib Place in Waukesha in 2009, with a focus on Southern-style barbecue as a tribute to Alisha’s mother (Pat) and her Southern cooking style. Pat’s meats are smoked daily and often served with homemade sauces (also available for purchase). Pat’s Rib Place is located in the Milwaukee Public Market and offers dine-in, take-out and catering options.

Dream Weddings is a wedding planning service owned and operated by Liz Wolf-Dixon. As a former ICU nurse, Liz knows what it’s like to be in high-stress situations. In fact, it’s where she thrives. Dream Weddings specializes in authentic, stress-free experiences including full-service planning and wedding management.
