Yersin business scholars
Yersin Scholarships are exclusive awards for select business students.
In early 2019, Carroll University received $5.5 million—the single largest gift in the school’s history—from the estate of alumnus Bill Yersin, Class of 1963. The gift established two new scholarships, supports an existing scholarship and created an endowed faculty position.

The Yersin Business Full-Tuition Scholarship and Scholar Awards are prestigious and exclusive awards eligible only to first-year applicants and transfer students. Selection for these awards is based on demonstrated academic promise in the field of business

In this 2019–20 academic year, the Yersin Business Scholars inaugural year, there are 45 scholars who are attending Carroll University from across Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee and Florida. The scholars, who make up a near 50/50 split of male and females, have an average qualifying GPA of 3.75.
