Art Galleries

Carroll University has visual art displayed at galleries throughout the year that are open to the public. The works on display come from a variety of artists in the Carroll community: faculty, guest artists, alumni, student exhibitions and more.

 

Joyce Paddock Bliss Gallery


Main Hall, First Floor

Opened in 2013, this gallery is named in memory of Joyce Paddock Bliss, a 1948 graduate who majored in English and art. The stunning space, located in Main Hall,  is a gift from her estate.

This gallery honors Professor Emeritus of Art Marceil Pultorak, the individual most responsible for the development of Carroll University's Wisconsin Artists Collection.

Wisconsin Artists Collection

The Wisconsin Artists Permanent Collection features artists from around the state, with more than 400 pieces in eight buildings throughout the Carroll campus. New pieces are added occasionally.

The Marceil Pultorak Dream

Creating the collection was the realized dream of Marceil Pultorak, professor emeritus of art. She wanted a better way for her students to study art. Today the collection is used by art students in their classes and also educates viewers on the wide range of Wisconsin artists.
