Advocate Aurora logo
The Mission of the Aurora Health Care Physical Therapy and Carroll University Women’s Health Residency is to provide a progressive, evidence-based quality education to prepare physical therapists for advanced clinical practice and advocacy in women’s health, guided by values of excellence, compassion and respect and a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Residents will contribute to advancing best practices through research and continuous education. They will also demonstrate a drive to improve our patients' and communities' health and wellness. The Program is committed to continuous improvement and strategic initiatives to facilitate excellent resident education and to maintain accreditation standards.

Residents in the Program will receive cutting-edge education on women’s and pelvic health topics commonly seen in clinical practice. This 12-month, paid residency program will prepare residents—through clinical mentorship, didactic education and research experience—to sit for the women’s health specialty exam.
