ADMISSION PROCESS

To apply for admission to Carroll University you need to submit the following documents:

Evaluation for acceptance generally takes one to three weeks and is done on a rolling basis. To monitor the status of your application please utilize the My CARROLL WEB PAGE site found at www.carrollu.edu under Prospective Students.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

Carroll University is committed to enrolling students who will be academically and socially successful at our institution. Admission to Carroll can be based on the following factors:

  • High school course work
  • High school/College grades (GPA)
  • Standardized test scores (ACT or SAT) (written portion of ACT is not required)
  • Personal statement
  • Recommendation (Report Form)
  • Co-curricular involvement
  • Community service activities
  • Work experience

At Carroll, we look at the entire picture of a candidate’s record and experiences to determine the likelihood of success at our university. The middle 50% of last year's enrolling freshman class were within the following ranges.

HS GPA
3.25 to 2.75
ACT
26 to 21
SAT
1190 to 990


These statistics represent the middle 50% of Carroll's enrolling freshman class. 25% of the students had higher statistics and 25% of the students had lower statistics.

Transfer applicants must normally be eligible to return in good standing to all institutions previously attended.
