Welcome

Do you love to write? Do you like to tell stories, or explain how things work? Do you want to stand out by demonstrating excellent writing and communication skills?

Carroll’s writing program will help sharpen these skills and prepare you for a wide range of careers. In this personalized and interdisciplinary program, students study writing along with a major or minor in any field. This curriculum allows students to pursue their own interests while also developing a wide range of skills suitable for today’s workplace. Writing courses emphasize the creation of powerful and persuasive texts in many different forms—from poems to novels to technical manuals to websites. As such, they supplement nearly any course of study and can help students become excellent communicators in whatever field of study they choose, from accounting to creative writing to English to zoology.
