Carroll musician will perform as guest organist

WAUKESHA, WIS.— Dr. Leon W. Couch III, organist and assistant professor of music at Carroll University, will perform two free off-campus recitals this spring.

On Sunday, May 26, he will be part of the 2013 Organ Concert Series at the Union Sunday School in Clermont, Iowa. For additional information, contact Montauk Historic Site at 563.423.7173 or montauk@acegroup.cc.

Couch also will perform on Thursday, May 30, at St. Paul Lutheran Church ELCA in Neenah, Wis., as part of the Lunchtime Organ Recital Series. For more information, contact Frank Rippl, coordinator, at 920.734.3762.

Couch has a doctor of musical arts degree in organ performance and a doctoral degree in music theory from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music. His undergraduate degrees in physics, mathematics and music are from the University of Florida. Couch presents organ recitals, master classes and lecture recitals throughout the United States.
