Art for Life traveling exhibit now on display

WAUKESHA, WIS.— Art for Life is a community outreach project initiated by Pacia Sallomi, associate professor of art at Carroll University, to present older adults with creative outlets while providing students hands-on experience in art education and art therapy. The project is funded by a grant from the Helen Bader Foundation.

The third annual Art for Life Exhibition is on display through mid-September at Chai Point Jewish Senior Living, 1414 N. Prospect Ave., Milwaukee. From Sept. 30-Nov. 25, 2012, the exhibit will be shown at the Milwaukee Art Museum, 700 N. Art Museum Drive, Milwaukee, in the Education Exhibition Hallway. All visits are free and open to the public.
