Carroll Receives General Community Service Award

The 2014 President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll recognized Carroll University as a recipient of the General Community Service award. Carroll was honored for three of its community initiatives including the pre-college program, Big Brothers Big Sisters partnership, and the Interprofessional Wellness Program. The President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll recognizes institutions of higher education that support exemplary community service programs and raise the visibility of effective practices in campus community partnerships, according to its website. The Corporation for National and Community Service has administered the community service honor roll awards since 2006, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, as well as the American Council on Education, Campus Compact and the Interfaith Youth Core.   more

Merry Christmas from Carroll University

For this year's holiday surprise, Carroll University turned its most historic building, Main Hall, into a high-tech, living canvas by creating and projecting a video onto the building's 6000-square-foot exterior surface.   more

Carroll Receives $1M Gift from the Bucyrus Foundation

Carroll University has received a $1 million challenge grant from the Bucyrus Foundation of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. This is the lead gift for Carroll’s Phase II of a multi-year project to improve the university's science facilities and provides an incentive for additional gifts for the project. The funds will be designated for the construction of the Bucyrus Center for Applied Physics and Engineering.   more
