Guest Artist Recital l Mezzo-Soprano Kate Tombaugh

Kate Tombaugh has been praised as “utterly convincing dramatically, and musically superlative” (Seen and Heard International). Her 2017-18 season has included debuts with Fort Worth Opera in the production Brief Encounters and Stockton Opera as Hansel in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, as well as with the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Seattle, Evansville Philharmonic and the New Philharmonic ensembles. Recent engagements include singing Angelina in Rossini’s La Cenerentola with Winter Opera St. Louis, Bach’s Mass in B Minor with the Apollo Chorus and Fanny Price in the American premiere of Jonathan Dove’s Mansfield Park with Indianapolis Opera.
