What have you been up to since graduation? Advanced degree? Jobs? Changes? Hobbies?
First job - teaching 6th grade in Hudson, Ohio for 2 years. Moved to Madison, WI so Doug could attend law school & taught 6th grade for 2 years & 4th grade for 1 year. Moved to Rothschild, WI (Wausau) where we still live. Had children and became a "professional" volunteer - school related while kids were there, including chairing all-nite graduation parties for 4 high schools for 10 years. Involved in church & Wausau Area Mobile Meals. Served on Carroll's Alumni Council and also the Board of Trustees.

Married to Doug Klingberg (Class of 1963) since 1964 - lawyer (now retired) 3 children: Brian born in 1969 - graduated from Carroll in 1991, U. of Minnesota law school, works for Sentry Insurance in Stevens Point, WI, newly married to Brigid. Amy born in 1971 - died of leukemia at age 3. Susan born in 1975 - graduated from Carroll in 1997, further degrees from George Washington U. and Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, married to Jim Craig (recently retired after 20 years in the Army), lives in St. Louis with 2 boys - Cole 6 and John 3.
What is your most vivid memory from your years at Carroll?
There are many: 3 girls (Susan Mears, Lucy Hoffman & I) in a double room in Voorhees for our Freshman year; Chi Omega friendships & activities; All-School Sing (I even directed our group my Senior year); Saturday steak night; Wednesday night dress-up for dinner; Carroll Choir tours
