P.E. MacAllister '40
Majoring in history with a minor in speech and English, Pershing (P.E.) MacAllister was an active student during his time at Carroll serving as fraternity President of Phi Theta Pi. He was also involved with academic fraternities, Pi Gamma Mu and Chi Sigma, served as senator and staff member of the Hinakaga yearbook, played clarinet in the band for 4 years, competed 3 years on the track team and was elected to "Who's Who" during his senior year. Sandy Cunningham traces her approach to life back to her dad and two words. He always spoke those two words to end a phone conversation or as someone was leaving. One was "Aloha," for love and peace. The other was "Imua," Hawaiian for "forward." (read more >>)
